It's one of those thought out games with a message of some sort * --- But ... It became repetitive. The part with growing the trees was so annoying , if it would stop at the right time with it ''turning to dust'' .. I would of gave it a higher rating. All in all -- it's not for short-tempered & easily annoyed people such as myself.

Great game. I do wish it was a bit longer though. I also think that more needs to be done with the seasons. The water freezes in winter and the wheat grows in fall. Perhaps have something to do with rain in the spring or have water dry up in the summer?
I can't find the secret medal though. Can anybody give me a hint?
Not a bad game, though I agree that there are some points that are particularly counter-intuitive. Perhaps hints could be added in the form of an expanded internal monologue, that could be switched on and off? Notes like, "They still fear me, but now that they have food, perhaps their village can grow," or "Caverns like these can take decades to develop."
This is a truly unique and inventive concept that can be expanded upon in so many ways. I really hope that this isn't the last time we see this concept. It is a kind of trial and error game that has real weight to it. No pun intended. If you fail, it's all over. But the way you succeed is through patience and caution. Creative thinking that is enable through the concept of waiting for change. It's pretty epic when you stop an entire calamity from happening through 400 years of waiting for the correct times to take critical actions to save the world on time. Very inspired.
I will say though that the character can be a little clunky and unresponsive in certain situations. I know that the point is that it is a big, heavy stone statue that has very limited movement. And that does aid the challenge and design philosophy of the game. But there are times when doing things like climbing or walking over to interact with something feels a little delayed. Like I have to be in a very specific hit box to have the actions go smoothly. It's really just a minor gripe.
Oh. And I came across a strange glitch, when climbing a tree once, that made the statue stuck in its fallen over animation while it would just continuously climb up or down the tree without me telling it to until it fell or touched the ground. Weird, but nothing game breaking.
Overall, this should really get a sequel or expansion or a more polished version and get some more attention.
