I made some adjustments, reducing the chance of the super zombie showing up. The idea for the game was that it gradually gets harder with each passing day, and that your luck is worse each day. That is why it gets worse as you go, to see how long you can survive. I've taken everyone's crits into consideration and will make adjustments and release it again in the future!

The game autosaves. You can quit at any time, and come back to continue.

The goal of this game is to essentially see how long you, our hero, can survive after the end of the known world. There is some luck involved in this game, but also planning out what resources to use and when, is a major key to surviving for a long time. Please let me know what you guys like and dislike about the game and I will happily make adjustments based on the audience's opinions.

You don't have to rush in the combat, take your time. The zombies can only attack once, per each time you attack them. You hit them, then they can try to hit you. You always go first.

i love this game! i think it would be better if their were home base projects. (like defensive things or billing a garden.) and if their was an app version so we could play it whenever.

Awesome game. I had quite a lot of trouble at first, but after a few playthroughs, passed time and reading comments, I've managed to triple my previous best mark.

One thing that bothered me though: did you make those dang hobos annoying on purpose or is it just me who has bad luck with them? I mean, I try to help them, but they either shove me away leaving lil' food or stab me with a pencil; is the best course of action to kill them or what?

First of all, I enjoyed the game and it kept me amused for an hour or so, however it got extremely tedious after day 400 or so. The art was good and the humor fun. I especially liked the cameo appearance of the Sagittarian crew in one of the early random encounters.

Now for the bugs/gripes:
(1) "The more undead you fight, the more damage your ammo will do as you get better at killing." That tip is absolutely, unequivocally false! From what I could tell, damage you deal is based entirely on your character's weapon, with bullets doing double damage. After you find the best weapon, you max out your damage at 12 melee and 24/bullet. I would suggest adding an instant kill possibility (behead with melee, blow out brains with gun) where the probability increases with your kill count.
(2) Zombie HP = your max HP. Zombie attacks are roughly your HP / 20, except when blocked by armor. This means zombies get tougher based on YOUR stats. So, if you spend time working out to get tough, you'll end up with zombie battles that take longer and cause you more damage. Zombie stats should increase based on days survived or number of zombies killed.
(3) Display the number of bullets and medkits while you are out foraging. You shouldn't need to go back to the safe house just to check your pockets.
(4) Show the number of zombies killed. We wanna know. 'Nuff said.
(5) Add a button to use medkits while out foraging. If you can use them in middle of a battle with a zombie, why can't you use one after stepping on a nail?
(6) The numbers are always the same. Why not make some of the choices have more random numbers? Such as grabbing either 2 bullets vs 4 food. Make zombie stats fall within a range so that one might be weaker than the one before. Perhaps the merchant is low on bullets and will give you a better deal.
(7) Battles take too long. Perhaps you could speed things up after day 200 or so. The player should have the system down by then. ;--)
(8) The end game is too easy and extremely tedious. There's enough food out there to keep going forever, and a strong character can stay alive without resting just by running away from zombies when his HP gets low, scrounging the occasional medkit, and receiving treatment from Dr. Sinclaire every few months. If the idea is to make the game harder and harder until eventually the character cannot survive, then you need a few tweaks. First, make the bad random encounters more painful. Your character's luck has gotten worse, so his injuries should be more damaging, right? Second, attack the food supply. As ir is, super zombies cause him to drop everything EXCEPT food. Third, make running away more dangerous. Perhaps the character drops things like he does against super zombies. Maybe he doesn't make it and it gets a free attack? What if it follows him home and he has to find a new safe house?
(9) Allow us to actually submit a score before we die. Maybe put an asterisk to show the game is still in progress. I'm going to have to kill my decade (3653 days) survivor to get on the list.
(10) Obviously your score submission has been hacked. I find it hard to believe someone played 100 million days worth of this game.

Bragging section:
My current character has survived 3,653 days, has 89/104 HP (all from killing zombies, no working out) 777 days of food in reserve, 0 medkits and 0 bullets (damn super zombies). He has a samurai sword and a moustache for armor. He could stay alive indefinitely, but I'm gonna go kill him so his score gets recorded.
