I made some adjustments, reducing the chance of the super zombie showing up. The idea for the game was that it gradually gets harder with each passing day, and that your luck is worse each day. That is why it gets worse as you go, to see how long you can survive. I've taken everyone's crits into consideration and will make adjustments and release it again in the future!

The game autosaves. You can quit at any time, and come back to continue.

The goal of this game is to essentially see how long you, our hero, can survive after the end of the known world. There is some luck involved in this game, but also planning out what resources to use and when, is a major key to surviving for a long time. Please let me know what you guys like and dislike about the game and I will happily make adjustments based on the audience's opinions.

You don't have to rush in the combat, take your time. The zombies can only attack once, per each time you attack them. You hit them, then they can try to hit you. You always go first.

Great, but sometimes frustrating: The game is only based on luck... It could be better if it uses more skills.

I just hit the Super Zombie four times in a row. Good game and all but that just lowered my over all score for the game.

So, after devoting quite a number of hours to this game, I'm semi-satisfied. The first MANY

attempts I went through resulted in an average 200 days of survival. Only when I encountered a

group of badasses twice in Newgrounds headquarters was I really able to take off. After easily

making it to 500 days with a very sizeable stockpile of food and the best weapon (the katana,) I

began to play for armor. At 800 days, with only a mustache, a large bowie knife, and a katana, I

realized my dream of badassery. No more armor remained, and so it was finished. Everything to

critique has been critiqued below already, so I digress. Good game overall, you held my attention

for longer than most games, and for that I salute you.

I like the concept of it, but it is mostly 100% luck.

This game would have rated much higher for me if not for the sheer unfairness of some of the random selection of situations.
4 super zombies in 6 searches all stealing your bullets?
Meeting the doctor woman twice in a row after not seeing her for 350 days (give or take)?
Bandit attacks and injuries following one after the other, my highest was 3 bandit attacks in a row and then two injuries.
The list goes on with frustrating things that happen within the game.
Having said that however it is still an enjoyable game, so long as you get lucky at the start with finding food and don't try to bulk up too soon. There are some very imaginative scenarios (I like the crazy dudes) and it's a good way to kill some time.
Fix the randomness to maybe account for repetition and up the latter game difficulty, once you hoard a ton of food you have virtually no fear. And an incentive to play past day 500 would be nice. Good job on the game!
