Who would have thought that a 5 minute story aout a paper doll and her struggle to get back to her paper doll big sister could be so dramatic and tearjerking. And not a single word of dialouge, very impressive.
Thank you! :D
Stunning animation, such an impressive work. You did a really good job with the storytelling and mood. It conveyed a daunting sense of sadness and desperation throughout, very good work.
wow... that was a vary powerful. this flash video brought me to the brink of tears. i love that this movie makes you think about what would you do if you were placed in a strange world and have a majer injuries. vary nice work :)
P.S. the only thing that i didn't like was the end. i thought that it would be cool to see the actual two sisters at the end hugging or walking out of the room. other then that it was a vary good flash.
This is a double honor for you in the fact that 1. I rarely write reviews. 2. Not to show off as "manly" or anything, but I just don't cry about stuff. This movie here made me cry. In no words whatsoever, you made me feel the emotion between these characters that fully budgeted productions rarely ever accomplish. For that you must be commended.
Technically, this is an impressive piece as well. I thought the animation was very good overall. I only noticed animation "choppiness" in a few areas (where the animation just jumps unnaturally by just a few frames) but 99% of it was very smooth, especially facials. And holy cow: that cat scared the crap out of me.
Thank you for making this awesome piece.
