This game was designed in under 48 hours for the Ludum Dare #25 Compo with the theme "You Are The Villain."

There are many ways to end the game, but for 100%ers there are 3 designer-directed endings. (As opposed to a player-directed ending, which is when you decide to stop playing of your own volition rather than because I send you back to the title screen.)

In order to see the truly villainous ending you will need to kill some innocents.

For me, this was about questioning what villainy really is. Does killing the people who killed your brother make you a villain? What about killing the people who were there to back them up? What about killing the others in their organization? What about killing a god? Where along that spectrum do you become a villain?

Thanks for playing!

Plz answer me,what is the true ending?5/5 Stars because you have a lot of decisions, good sounds, and a good story.

josephmillertc responds:

There isn't really a true ending. As far as I'm concerned, letting yourself be killed in the first level for pacifist reasons is a "true ending," just as valid as the other endings that have more content before them. I may add more content for endings like that in the future.

Very simple and damn fun game.
0 deaths and 0 innocents.

First time I didnt serve God of Heaven because I wanted to be evil to the maximum, but second play I helped Heaven, then I could rebel against it, it was really nice lol

I really wanted to take the competition theme to its most logical extreme. What is more villainous than murdering the Lord of Heaven?

Wew,i give it 5 stars ;)
Why? because it's a pixel-art game.

josephmillertc responds:

Yo, you are easy to win over. :)

I now know how to guaranteed always get at least one 5-star rating on Newgrounds.

Thank you very much. Just out of curiosity, what turned you off about it at the beginning? I'd like to know so that I don't do the same thing on future entries.
