My first attempt at creating a game with the flixel framework. Decided to go for the simplest game possible and do a little remake of pong with some special paddles.
- JUMPY : Jumps out horizontally to reach the ball
- STRETCHY : Stretches out to get hard to reach balls
- SHOOTY : Shoots a gravity reversing laser
- GUARDY : Places a barrier which can block balls
- STICKY : Delays before releasing ball. Can be manually unstuck
The abilities get more useful the more points you score. This was originally designed to be just a little something to play with my flatmate but I have added in a rudimentary AI in case you are on your own. Enjoy!
At first, I thought it was just going to be a generic game of pong, but It was actually really cool. I loved how you could pick different types of paddles with different powers. It entertained me for quite a while, great job!
