Knight Run is a fast-paced fighting game where your goal is to get as far as possible without dying. Along the way, you can fight enemies to gain experience and levels which allows you to learn skills to better fight off enemies.

This is only my second game, and it's just a completely reprogrammed version of the first one/first game I've made. (Next will be a completely different game, not Knight Run 3.)

I really appreciate any comments and constructive criticism you can give me. :)

Much improved. The blocking, power ups, and jumping are very nice additions that make the player more involved. Now time for critiques.

-Controls are bad. Mixing Space with Z and X feels uncomfortable.
-Not being able to run and attack at the same time is annoying. Makes every encounter with ground troops a stand still battle.
-Graphics are still bland.
-Need more ways to attack or different classes. Maybe a one time power up that charges itself up.

Stealth2800 responds:

Thanks for reviewing again! I'll look into other controls for the game. Also, I'll work on adding the ability to walk or something while attacking along with some active powerups, rather than passive powerups.

How do you suppose I should improve the graphics? You can PM me with your response, I suppose, since you can't reply to this response...

I like it but it needs a better name

Stealth2800 responds:

Thanks! I agree with you, but I've already released it so I probably won't change it. ;)

This is by far the best game I have reviewed.
Fun to play and very additive.
The soundtrack and sound effects are spot on.
There is a decent amount of enemy variety.
You sir shall be getting a 5 star rating.
Keep it up!

Strangely addicting, tho more ought to be done with the design & gameplay ... to me it got old before it got difficult ...

Stealth2800 responds:

Thanks! And yeah, I realize that it does get kinda old. I'm constantly thinking of ways to improve that and I probably won't start working on another game until I refine this one a lot.

I'm going to be working on adding more to the combat mechanics so hopefully that'll make things more interesting.

Pretty fun! But there is a glitch, if you hold down space, and contenuesly run, you can outrun them all.

Stealth2800 responds:

Yep, I'm going to implement a feature that stops you from continuing on unless you defeat all the enemies behind you. At the moment, all they do is just despawn once you get far enough away from them.
