[Contest: OPEN] The contest rules are in the flash. If you need anything explained, let me know please.

Notice: This took two weeks to put together so please don't badmouth it. Thank you.
So here we go! This is my little art gallery of the Pokemon I've drawn. I apologize for the lousy picture quality, I had to use my phone's camera since I don't have a scanner.

This thing took for freaking EVER to code!! Mostly the music, but still!! This took a lot of effort. I hope you all enjoy it!

Mostly made for my own amusement. Also to practice my Flash skills. But mostly amusement.

Made with Adobe Flash CS3 Pro, Microsoft Paint, Gimp 2.6, and Audacity.
BONUS: There are two secrets to find! Can YOU locate both?

Oh wow look what we have here! Have you ever heard of the old saying people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones? ;P
Why is it you're so willing to trash other artists when your an aspiring artist yourself?
Never forget that even though the internet can be a cold place it is filled with people...
If I was a vengeful man! I'd give you a 0/5 ;P
But I am not... And you put a lot of effort into your work!
Learning to code is no small task and art is an ever evolving personal journey!
Don't let people hold you back! And try to be a better person than the rabble ;P
Great job! Keep practicing! :D

Creator-Sama responds:

Thank you so much!!

Emphasis on "aspiring" artist.

I don't intend to "trash" other artists. (I don't even know what prompted you to say that. 0.o) "I'm my own worst critic" is a personal saying of mine, so much so that I wrote a little poem/drabble/thingy of the same name. Being my own worst critic means I have a bad habit of being the same to others. I try not to though.

A critique without any positive feedback is trashing/bashing. I try to give at least one good thing about something when I critique it. (Preferably 3 things.)

Anyway.... umm.... what was I saying? I have no idea where I was going with this. I want pocky.

Not bad but; you could of just uploaded each individual one on the 'Art' section of Newgrounds.

Also, I realize an hour and a half is a lot in comparison to how long this should take, but compared to how long really good animators take on their projects this is like a second.

Creator-Sama responds:

Thanks! I don't cinsider these to be Art Portal worthy though. Also, if they're all separate, how can I make a contest? Or put in cute little secrets and fun music? No, this way is far more entertaining.

Well, considering this is the largest project I've done so far (read: got my lazy ass around to finishing), I'd say that my 5yr old attention span and mediocre art and coding skills have done an excellent job, all things considered.

Seriously. Read my news update and you'll get an idea of why I'm proud of this. Well, that and the new ability to code nifty music buttons. xP

I feel like I should say more but I fear it would wander into "Random rantings of insanity" territory. Therefore, I'll leave it here.

Tootles!! ^w^ v

Quite entertaining. While I do think the doodles couldv'e been more accurate, I admire the work put in especially the insights into how people should show their mistakes. The 2 secrets hidden in the presentation were also awesome. I know 3 sounds low but I know you can draw better!! Thanks.

Creator-Sama responds:

Well it was my first time trying to chibi-fy something freehand and I've never drawn these before. I prefer drawing objects. ;P

Thank you so much for the helpful critique! I'm glad you liked it!

And yeah, I'm disappointed in people who look at their old art as shameful. It's just a reminder of how good you've gotten! When you start thinking you're not very good, go back and look at your old art. If you hide it then it not only discourages you, but other artists who want to be at your level someday.

Good luck to all you aspiring artists out there!!

you should learn how to draw before posting an art gallery

Creator-Sama responds:

I posted this as practice to show that people don't start out great, they have to work at it. I'm sorry you don't like it, but I'm not trying to please everybody. I spent a lot of time on this and put a LOT of work into it. If you don't like the drawings, can't you find something else about it that you like?

It's unfair to everyone for you to just post insults without actually critiquing it. (And no they are not the same thing.)

I would appreciate it if you would post one positive thing next time as it will help me get better.
