Great game, still suck at it. Should've been tagged as Simulation - Pet / Buddy, had a hard time to find this childhood game. Thanks for the tips @Morlord, managed to finish the game! Very cool

Even though this is super old and the Author probably isn't even alive anymore, here is my review:

It's a rather fun game and a nice time waster.
There isn't much you can do in fights other than pick up 2 Heal/Damage/Special icons to give a boost, everything else is terrible RNG.
Sometimes those icons seem to troll you too, giving you 5 Damage icons in a row while you wait for your second Special icon. Horribly rigged RNG.

Going full physical is pure tortute and a waste of time. You will have to grind up heavily (around 33/33) to beat the last boss.
Only Psy is strong enough to let you enjoy the game, without it being an unenjoyable grind fest. (Psy + Crit + highest Crit Damage)

Regular fights just feel like a grind, there is no challenge, no nothing, just go in and wait for the victory to get exp and money.

Unfortunately, there aren't many monsters to choose from, even if you unlock the others.

The mutations are also bound to the looks of your creature, meaning if you want those cool looking arms, tough luck, gotta take the super ugly ones due to the stats.
There is also no way to further mutate / choose which body parts and stats you want to have in the endgame, i.e. reaching Tier 9 and then having free choice of which body part you want along with which stats to use on it.
It would be nice to have body parts to choose from and then just add the tier's stats onto them.

Also, having more monster variety would be cool, the enemy monsters have certain heads that you can't choose.
Allowing to change things like eye colour and eye form would be cool and so on.

Some boss fights are ridiculously unfun and annoying, the music isn't long enough for some of the fights and therefore loops badly.
Some fights are way too slow and a double speed button would be nice to have in such situations.

Ingredients are so random, sometimes you will have +100 of certain foods but still can't cook a recipe.

A remake or sequel to this game with those things fixed, more monsters to choose from would certainly be cool. But the Author seems MIA and even if not, probably not interested nor have the time to do this.
