awesome game, love the overall style and of course the creatures, but after chapter 5/6 or so it's getting to much nonsense-grinding and have a really bad balancing with enemies. some of them i've only beaten cause of the good luck with the health ups in fights.

Could be great, but it falls into the trap of all the other games like this: it gets to a point where stuff kills you in 2-3 hits and you're still doing maybe 300 damage tops while stuff has 10k hp. It's also not very fun having a combined +40% special chance and watching your thing do regular attacks 10 hits in a row.
Basically, it's just wildly inconsistent. When I fight the same boss 2 times in a row with the same stats, and the first time he's still at 90% then the second time he's at 15%, then there's something wrong with your coding.
its a cool game until you get to higher levels and no matter how much better your stats are then the opponents they kick your ass because your rawr is doing -1 damage every attck even thought you have +30 physical attack skill and a +50 claw mastery rare skill but still only -1 damage every hit
