Think out of the box. Find out which rules of physics you have to break in every level.
WASD/Arrows to move, Space to interact with objects, 1/2 to modify strength/life, Q to pause, R to restart.
I can't believe I missed when this came out! Another excellent entry!
I'm glad you integrated strength and life. Having more than 1 life never helped in Humbug and it makes sense that without any strength you die. The controls are oddly clustered, trying to jump and pause can be awkward, but you set use to both arrows and letters, so it can be worked around. I was initially mixed about my feelings for the omission of the mouse during levels, but I felt that keyboard only riddles made the game more coherent and didn't meaningfully reduce the number of weird possibilities to be taken.
I enjoyed the perspective gags and liked how the knights mocked Ziggy's intelligence with the clues to the items. Was that the tone you were going for? The secret ending was a bit of a let down as it was too vague. Does Ziggy have new plan to get the crown? Will he be reunited with his chicken? Why did I only need 3 of the diamonds, and why were the wings hidden by THAT riddle?(Don't want to spoil) Is there a Meta-Secret ending that requires the last gem and even MORE ingenuity? So many questions!
This is still one of the funniest and most original series on Newgrounds, and I'm glad to keep it going!

I'm glad you've liked the game, and I agree we could make a story a little more clear. There is only one secret ending... It is some kind of cliffhanger (it sounds better than letdown IMO), but Humbug 3 can continue from that moment. ( Ziggy will learn new abilities to fight his nemesis and finally get the crown).
I'm also thinking about Humbug 0, simple game with more story, because you know, it all makes sense in my head...
Before that, we would probably make some other games, maybe to improve our skills, to finally reach NG home page (hopefully).
