The basic idea of a light version of Magic the gathering, slightly altered is very nice. The game itself has a commong addictiv element.. collecting cards (Pokemons, Magic cards, Yugi aww cards, Battleforge cards.) nothing new but still it works.

Sad thing about the whole game are the Token prices. I mean 1000 Tokens cost 10$ and if you even want to buy 1 single card. just right now 12/22/12, "Phoenix Shield" for 1500 tokens... means you would have to spend 15$ for 1 card... common those prices are just to high. I mean if you would go for lower prices the chance of anyone actually buying tokens to get a benefit over others would be much higher than now.

As allready mentioned the level up cost for rare and epic monsters are just.. hilarious. Which means the best chance to be actualy good at this game comes down to how much money you put into this game..

nevertheless it's worth a try and beats many other games of this genre.

Sincerly yours

greedy greedy greedy....good game play but this light system and the unusable cards along with certain items not being able to be played on your monsters is way to earn enough to get worth while cards, skip this one

A good and addicting game, but with quite annoying elements.

It is really, really hard to buy boosters or crystals when the rewards are so low compared to the light needed and the cost of items. Then, you can't buy boosters based on color so it is quite likely that you spend your hard earned gold on boosters that won't give usable cards on your deck.

Because of those, the game feels unbalanced because you will be stuck with common or uncommon cards thanks to the randomness of the cards that you get from the boosters, and when you actually get uncommon monsters or higher, you can't level them up because, well, the crystals are so freaking expensive.

Author, please don't be so greedy and make the game more achievable for free players.
