Hello there, this is my fourth release to NG now, with many more to come. I wasn't really planning on uploading this, It's really rushed in places and it's rather sad and sappy, but what the hey, here it is on NG, in mp4 format (because I managed to break the original flash file)

A man awakens in a vast desert and has a conversation about the joys and troubles of his own life, with a man who is none other than himself.

The title refers to the notion of DMT flooding your brain to give you one last dream before you die.

Voiced by Seymour
Music by BombFiglio
And a big thanks to TomFulp for helping me get this on NG

*EDIT* - Thanks for the front page and the daily 3rd place! :D

Fyi tho, it was clear that he died from suicide after killing his girl, and he died of gsw to the head. No time for DMT there. Unless it outruns the trigger.

At first I thought the animation was.. OK, at best, but at the end... Thank you.
Thank you for reminding me what DMT truly is.

This was almost exactly what I saw.

When I smoked DMT, I felt as though I was thrust into a combination between an expansive Desert And a moonlit cave.
Even the colors you used were PERFECT. When the sky would go dark, I would become worried, nostalgic, and altogether sad because I thought the trip was about to end (which I see as a parallel to one's emotions about their own life ending), but then The colors would illuminate myself, and the entire universe, reverberating the loving Idea of "Always. Always. No matter what, There is Love. Always."
The colors ranged from the entirety of the ground's surface shifting from a vibrating warm, warm brown, To a loving turquoise green, To a light, but still warm violet.. Almost like a sunset combined with the catharsis of knowing you have at least BEEN alive, you have HAD that experience.
The sky around me would fluctuate between a sea green to the glow of the sunset's heavens....

I felt so overjoyed at it all, I was still breathing normally, but I wanted to cry at the emotional beauty of it all.
I would see the sky, it would go dark, revealing the ceiling of my actual location, allowing me to hear what my dad & my friends next to me were saying, then it would remove me from my real world and bend the edges of everything until my soul knew I was back in my "DMT desert".
The "desert" felt like the real of all that is Love, and like the place sincerely wants you to UNDERSTAND, you are loved, even in the end.
My mind knew that this substance is "The one", not in any superiority sense, but in the sense that where you go USING DMT is what all life strives for.. The ability to know You are a being of sentience, but still be in the paradise & eternal bliss of the end of life.

To this day, anytime I hear anything that sounds similar to the gentle, loving piano/guitar music I heard whilst under it's influence, I feel it is obligatory to cry tears of joy, as doing so breifly brings me back to that same place of happiness and eternity.
I truly believe DMT could help many, many people.

So once again, thank you, Patonion, Seymour, for creating this beautifully orchestrated, Strikingly realistic example of the power of this experience.
