Here our heros (joao,jp,jean) arrive at one of South Africas
wildest and maddest rock festivals. As they are new to the experience they dont
know what to except and hence get completely hammered with no recollection
of the previous night.They soon discovered that they have lost their
friend javier in the madness of oppikoppi they then venture out searching
for their friend in the wild festival.

Commentary : As it was my first flash movie it was fairly difficult and frustrating
to use although fairly fun when you get the hang of it.Flash is indeed an impressive tool
and i look forward to properly mastering the possibilities it has to offer.

The story is actually inspired by real events that took place as joao,jean
and I's first trip to oppikoppi,so not all of it were fiction, after the first night
we really did manage to lose one of our friends in this case it was joao and not
a man named javier.We soon found him a couple of hours later (12 to be exact)
passed out in our tent, he had no recollection of how he got back or what happened
to him.All he knew was he was transported there by some half naked man in a wheelbarrow.

Hence oppikoppi is truly an unique and strange experience that really opened up my
eyes to the sort of crazyness that we South Africans actually get up to. Hence
i wanted to make an animation that really crudely captured atleast a porption
of the absurdity that is oppikoppi.

..and it was a really funny story to tell.
