My first animation !
I've been around newgrounds for years now, but I did not have time (nor patience) to learn on how to animate with flash =/
So I finally decided to give my first shot on this.
This is a 8bit animation based on the Mortal Kombat 9 Kratos Trailer:

EDIT: I should problably try to add a Play button =P Sorry about that, it can get annoying. But I didn't learn how to create interactive buttons yet.
EDIT2: I tried adding a loader with the play button but it says: "WARNING: Actions on button or MovieClip instances are not supported in ActionScript 3.0. All scripts on object instances will be ignored." =/
It's a good start!
Okay, for a first flash. You seem to have the bare basics of flash-working from what I can tell. Keep learning how to use Flash and keep working on your technique and you'll get better.
As for right now, I think this might be okay for stay. To be honest, i'm so used to front-page-quality content nowadays that I tend to forget how everyone started. :p
Very nice to be your 1st animation!!! :D, you should go to Download part and get a loader. You don't need to know anything about ActionScript because you just copy and paste at 1st frame and it does all the stuff for you.
