One of the best games I've played recently! Very unique and addictive, wonderful job.
The quest portion is very cool and different than most people think "questing" is. Being able to add in improvements to the workshops that also add perks is very nice, too.
I love that it's not hard to make money in this game. I hate games that seem literally impossible to earn back what you spend, but Swords & Potions lets you spend and earn all in one go without going into a horrible debt that'll make you lose the game.
Games that have too much "control" on days/tokens/waiting for things kind of suck but it makes sense here and I like when things make sense.
Great job on this one!

i see potential but the game is currently way to reliant on paying real money or on the guild system which sucks cause there are no methods to get randoms to join your guild and my friends certainly won't play this game

A fun time with swords and potions. The main premise of the game is instead of being the hero buying stuff from the merchant you are the merchant! You have to hire 4 diffrent people to help you make items to sell. The Blacksmith who makes weapons and heavy armor. The Sorceror is who makes potions,Hp Pots, magical dust and everything else involved with unicorns and magic. The tailor who crafts light armor and accesories and finally the cartperter who sells stuff like bows and medium armor. You try to make a profit selling these items through one of my favorite systems. You can see the stock price and how much they offer. It also shows the diffrence. You get a multitude of choices. You can just sell the item, try to haggle, suggest another item and make them wait. You also have to think about the future in the game. Ex: Should I sell this sword for +13 than normal price? Maybe try to get a better deal from someone else? Haggle? Make them wait and make another copy? You really have to think hardly on decisons later on. Now on towards the crafting. To craft items you need resources. These can be obtained by simply buying them once the day ends. You can also increase there size for a certain amount of $$$.You have to craft items and then just sell them right? Well thats just the bare bones. You need to research items to sell because sooner or later people will start to want these items. Researching makes it so you cant craft so if you run out of stock on a item, your royalily boned. The researching can take up to 6 days+ in game!! So after that you have to run about your shop managing everything. Your characters can level up and become faster at there jobs. Yet as they level they want more moneh. So you have to pay there salaries at the end of the day. You also have to pay rent (Talk about it later).A big part of this system is guilds. This is because you need to make your shop better. You can get some better floors, doors and some racks to display items. These help with various things. You have to have a guild who can donate CO-OP points so you can build these items. Bigger objects take more gold and CO-OP points. After that we move onto the rent and moving system. When you start the game you start in the country side. You dont have rent but you dont really have many customers. You can move alter to the City gates, Market plaza, Bagizan Bazzar, A fancier market and finally a flying castle!!! As you progress these locations have rent and you have to pay more moneh. So make sure to rev up them money boats. Lets start with 2 systems that turn this game from 4.75 to 4. The waiting and token system. These systems pretty much scream "PAY ME MONEH". The waiting system is where you have to wait 15 minutes to get another day in the game these can stack-up over time to a maxium of 5. ORRR if you think time is money, you could buy nights for tokens. Tokens are pretty much premium currency. They give you better recipes, items, enhancments and you become better in genreal. I feel like this gives advantages to people willing to throw moneh. SO lets start off at the begening now: You design your character and you get a shop. You get to chose 1 out of the 4 workers. I personally went with the tailor but I recomend the sorcoress. After that you start to work. At this time I recomend you just research items because your character already brings in a nice supply of items. Sooner or later a adventure will come saying "IF someone has a 4 leaf clover and tries to sell them, arrest them" So you have to do that. Later you will be able to chose 1 more worker. I chose Blacksmith. I actully recommend to chose him becuase of his valuable items. To get more workers now you need to add new parts of the building using the improvment thing and CO-OP points (and moneh). You pretty much are a free bird at this path. All I recommend to do is get a nice guild and put up a idle game to help with the waiting and your set. This game will make you have fun for years ( I mean it O_O).
