R.I.P Megaman. Our memories will never forget you. TT_TT
First,megaupload,megavideo,now Megaman. WHY!!!!
It's sad that some people don't understand the point of this game, even though you spelled it out quite clearly in your closing statement.
Thank you for making this game, thank you for showing what Mega Man is coming to, thank you.
For you guys (the guys that made this): Good job, guys! Thank you for putting so much hard work into this in such a short time limit. Also, THANK YOU for summing up what I feel about Xover.
Now onto the actual review (aimed at Capcom themselves): Xover sucks. This isn't the guys who created the flash version's fault, though: it's Capcom's own failure to appeal to their fans and disrespect towards the game series that put them on the map. Two button, on-rails RPG style gameplay does NOT a Mega Man game make. Also, the fact that three guys made a near-complete Flash version of a retail game (that has had at least 20 people working on it for at least a year) in 24 HOURS is absolutely sickening to me. Shame on you, Capcom. This game is to the entire Megaman franchise as a Peanut Butter and Dogshit sandwich is to a Reese's.
I really have to applaud your work. While I've never been a great Megaman/Rockman player, this was painfully easy...and that's sort of the point, isn't it? This does an excellent job of illustrating everything that's wrong with the Xover concept. Anyone who wonders about what Capcom is doing with the franchise should play this to see for themselves.
