This game is fun and very challenging, but Emmy is a very difficult branch to acomplish. The idea of maxing out one of the stats or unlocking all secrets also seems rather daunting. Maybe, if there was a way to remove boredom to gain more time that would be great. It needn't be free either. Perhaps it costs money and gets progressively more expensive everytime you use the option. I don't know, just a suggestion.
Liked it but am having a little trouble figuring out how to reduce boredom ( or is that like the 30 day deadline ? ) and would prefer a different font since it's a little hard to read sometimes. I especially liked how you need to manipulate the girls in order to make them sacrificial virgins and the little twists in the endings.
On another note... 50 pounds for one beer??
Boredom is effectively the deadline, yes. There's a one-time secret that can reduce it, but that's it. Font is a good point, hard to balance stylistic with readability.
Yeah...video game economies, eh? We just rolled with easy-to-calculate (plus the easily recognizable pound sign) over the oddness of having historically accurate farthings, shillings, etc. Though I guess we could have at least went with lower numbers to be less crazy in modern values.
Needs a walkthrough. Its good for what it is.
Walkthrough added in the description, as per request.
I have to admit that I am not a fan of RPGs. I guess I didn't care much for this one because it didn't hold my interest for a very long time. At least there's an easy medal for resting. I do appreciate the Halloween theme. When I first saw this, I thought it was related to the movie "Hotel Transylvania", but it turns out it wasn't. It's a pretty strange premise for a game.
I guess it's somewhat original for what it is. This just comes off as a bit too boring to me. You really do have to make specific decisions in order to advance. The music isn't bad, though. I like how the game automatically pauses.
The tiny pixel graphics and simple gameplay do nothing to hide the fact that this is a cleverly written, tightly designed game. In fact, I appreciate how well it emulates old style graphics (especially that screen transition. WHOOSH!) Great game, and well worth a replay.
