I was practicing some scripting and this happened, my art and programming skill has improved alot since WAR. This game is about solving a four digit code and it is extremely short.

Press the button to go from 9-0

When you think you have the right number, press the big enter button on the right

If it is right, a light will turn green, if not keep trying

The walls hold all the answers

I'm already working on a full length follow up game, so keep an eye on it if you like puzzle games :)
Thanks for playing and please rate/review

Interesting. Your game is not the most challenging but it is a stepping stone on whats to come. The music had a classic Halloween theme to it like a tall creepy figure is staring at you from the back at your head. Maybe that was my motivation to try and find the code to get out of there. But again its a cute little effort on what you might bring to the table on this site which I can't wait to see what it is once you plan it out in a well thought out manner. I was going to give you a 2 out of 5 but I think you deserve little more than that for your efforts. I bestow upon you a 2 in a half out of 5. And a 3/5 in voting power. I hope you've enjoyed this review and I hope you contribute more works here on this site. Good day.

I can see this being a very interesting mechanic. As you say, it's extremely short though. The art was somewhat lacking of polish, and I feel for such a game, a more 'technological' feel would be appropriate, rather than the 'mysterious-olde-English' thing it had going.

Sound effects are definitely required, as well, nothing too fancy, but just some simple beeps and buzzes to provide some feedback. I spent a while trying to figure this out, and that would've helped.

All in all, I can't justifiably protect this. But I look forward to seeing what you manage to incorporate this into!

As a puzzle game, I like the idea of searching on the walls and the walls having cryptic messages on them. Where you have to use your brain to decrypt the messages, then find where the number is placed. That in fact, is a strong point for the game. Unfortunately, that is the only strong point in the game's favor. For one, the game is criminally short with only one puzzle and one code. While said puzzle is very well made, it is only one puzzle. Even for a demo this kind of length for a game is unacceptable. At the very least make two or three more puzzles to get the player enticed. Another minor problem I had with the game is the actual solution to the problem. Without giving anything too major away, all I had to do was make one of the lights turn green and the puzzle was over. Usually, this kind of puzzle requires all of the lights on the code board to turn green and then the puzzle is over. This way, it just feels like lazy programing. Overall, I think the one pro outweighs the multiple cons because those are mostly just minor tweaks that NEED to be fixed if this game, or it's sequel, will get anything above a two from a general audience (I'd like to consider myself more generous in this sense). For me, this game ultimately comes out positive.
