Raising Lazarus

This is my second Jesus film. The narration is taken straight from John chapter 11 in the Contemporary English Version of the Bible. It’s pretty much a straight re-telling of the story of Jesus resurrecting Lazarus to life again. The spooky music Thomas Newman’s from the movie Jarhead. I hope you enjoy it!

Well, the animation was sort of wonky at bits. It was rather consistent, the narration was very good, but I think it could have been strengthened if you added more voice actors since the narrator couldn't voice the women without breaking up the flow.

Overall, I liked it. 3.5 Stars, 4 stars rounded.

kinda good, the music was pretty good same as the backgrounds, the charatchers were quite right but.... the animation was pretty weird as funny. pretty good in my opinion

My Respect

Very nice animation, portraits the story quite nicely so indeed. Couple of lines said that I can't find in my version of the Bible which makes me wonder, did you add some lines so that it would fit better within the media of a flash cartoon or is this literally written in your Bible? I would like to know. :D
(both are fine btw, like it even)

@mb3: Funny thing to say, seeing as this is basically a part of the best piece of history written down in the best selling book EVER to have been created. Also being the most commented book, most loved book and most read book. Apparently, your opinion of it being a boring, nonsensical story is ...how should I phrase this... something that comes off to me as being a brainfart. No offence. And ofcourse, a movie about a historical event of relatively massive importance (the resurrection of a human being seems like a big thing to me anyhoo) is ofcourse never a massive waste of time.
Maybe that's something to reflect upon for you.

@Austrian-mats: I completely agree, though I think the jerky movements may be an error on your computer's part since I didn't have any of that, went very smoothly indeed.

Indeed very rare to see this kind of flash, I hope people will start doing this more.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GENTLEMAN, I do so enjoy this kind of flash, I shall soon watch your other flash, and, ofcource, it's always good to tell people about the Bible.

Overall, well done sir, and I say I wish to see MORE!
4,8/5 (because 5/5 would mean perfection, and being human that is unaccomplishable.)

Boring, nonsensical story. The animation was ok, leaning towards mediocre. Massive waste of time.

I liked the narrator's voice, it sounded very professional.

Concerning the animation, well, it's well made. The only things that bothered me were the at times jerky movements of the characters, as well as their eyes, which lacked expression. Most of the time, Jesus looked either shocked or like staring into nothingness.

Otherwise, a nice cartoon. Interesting to see Bible stories in Flash cartoons without the usual ridiculousness.
