Cody is a casual guy with good looking girlfriend Katy. One day when they were on a walk in the city having a great time, Monsters showed up from nowhere. They knocked down Cody and kidnapped Katy. When he woke up he found himself in his flat and noticed there is a letter on his desk. That letter was from Monsters and it was saying to give up and pay them $ 1,000,000 to get Katy back. According to their words, it's not possible to get all along the way to Dead Lava and save her himself. But with your help it is possible, help Cody to save Katy and beat all the Monsters!

Well, the game looked good at first but once you actually get into it, it is for lack of a better word, lacking. Newgrouds says this isnt the place for smug jokes, nonsense, or being a total jerk. That being said, if this were an actual, honest to god, game then I would understand that statement. I feel bad because I dont know if this is someones first attempt at game creating or just a piss poor effort. The graphics are simple, the animation includes a kid running with a gun floating along with him. The enemies are squid that shoot bullets and level design consists of jumping over cleverly placed pitfalls over and over. I guess you just jump over the bullets cuz you cant duck. I feel like I am a critic made to judge five year olds' finger paintings and shit on them because they are absent one crucial thing. AN ACTUAL ARTIST! I give it 2 stars because this did take time and effort.
