This game is magnificent for a number of reasons
-The art style is quirky, cute, and colorful
-The dialogue isn't boring and sometimes a bit funny
-The combo system seems interesting to add to this kind of platformer
-The level up animation is flashy and feels rather rewarding
-Quests seem interesting enough
The music seems okay, not too bad but nothing too special. The storyline I haven't progressed far enough to judge it, but so far, it's mediocre. The game feels fresh and fun and seems like a nice new addition. Thanks and best of luck with more games you make in the future.
Ugly bugs :\\ jumping around on the map to where i'm not supposed to be and then i can't do anything
The controls are fine. Though some things you might want to consider are the wall hanging. It is very sticky. I would go near the edge of a platform, and I would automatically cling to the side of the wall. Also there's a problem on the map as well. I move to a certain area, and it teleports me outside of the area of the whole map, so that I'm walking on the air in the background and I can't get back to the center of the map. Also, you might need to work on talking to the other characters in the towns. It's annoying when you pass by a character(s) and you automatically talk to them. I know that you can use the down or S button to do actions, but that would be something to keep in mind for other things as well. I personally would use the down button for every action such as buying an item from the store, and even talking to characters in town.
It's still a bit buggy, but I'm sure you can fix that in no time. The music is very catchy, so I'm not getting tired of it at all. I also felt that the timing on the swings when performing the action to use your sword was a bit slow. I would like it to be more precise on the timing because it was a bitch trying to swing at the enemies. Bombs are very useful. I haven't played through the whole game yet, but these were some things I thought of while I was playing the game. It's a really good game, but it still needs some fixes here and there. Also a question: what is the up and right arrows (or W and D) for? Maybe I haven't played it long enough to the point where I can use more actions, but we'll see when I play further into the game.
Overall, the game has good graphics, nice music, easy controls that you can customize, and the gameplay isn't that bad. Please work on those bugs that I have mentioned. Thanks.
