Seven Deadly Sins - Three

Part 3 of a series I'm making for school.
I really don't have much to say about this one, except it contains 'hilarious' themes such as domestic abuse and arson.
Have fun, kids.

This animation seems to detail what some people would resort to. Very realistic.

Well, is there anything else that needs be said about a piece like this? I feel that a little more should be said, because the content is not perfect. It is very moving, but is not where it needs to be to garner the full five stars from me, yet.

The music was a fantastic choice - Ave Maria, was it? I love the subtle blend of that, with the black and white that you chose to dominate your work. Blending in the red from blood and the blues from bruising was a nice artistic flair, which will stand you in good stead as your works progress.

I think that the woman was a little too heavy set - her shoulders were broad and her neck was quite thick. These are not physical qualities of a woman who is incapable of defending herself. If she is as muscular as her husband, then she has a very submissive personality. Most women that i know (heavy set, or otherwise) would beat the living snot out of their other half, if they tried to do something like this.

Sometimes, there is at least an understandable reason to trigger off the reaction in one of the seven deadly sins, but this one seemed quite tame. Yes, I'm aware that being served a black gloop with what looks like tentacles in may be the straw that broke the camel's back, but perhaps we needed a little more backstory, rather than just a guy being bored at work - perhaps he is getting hassle from his boss, for instance.

Still, overall, a very nice piece. I've got to see the other 6, now.
