The idea for this game was good although due to how large the levels were and the fact that there was no music it got extremely tedious very quickly. Also I wouldn't have hurt to have some animation on the character.
What I would have done to improve it would have been to along with some background music, sound effects and making the characters legs move as he walks, include an instruction page as you stated in the describion that it was almost a standard maze game which are usually controlled by mouse. Maybe some different kinds of fruit other then those red apples would have been good too.
Basically this game could have been so much better if a little more time was put into it.
