--- UPDATE: 21th July ---

So, after spending almost the equal amount of time, updating the game, I can finally proudly present to you the (almost) finished version of my game. I've implemented Newgrounds Medals, added an easier difficulty (HARD is what was before and NORMAL is same as HARD, only that some notes have been removed to decrease difficulty, courtesy of Stinkproductions for this wonderful idea), added 2 modes (Free mode, Change song), added note hit accuracy in percent, and made some hard stages a bit easier to actually make them playable and FC-able (to be able to get 100% accuracy on them). Sadly, Nyan Cat has been replaced with Cluck since it just too difficult to play with it. Restart and Menu button have been added as well for your convenience. I really, really hope you guys like this, and as for secrets (aka new songs), I'll try to add them next month or so :)

If you stumble upon any bugs, please report them to me, and the Flash sometimes flickers for a millisecond before each Stage. I am positive that it's vCam's doing, but having already implemented it, I wouldn't even have been finished with the game right now :P

EDIT: Stage 3 (The Freeze) stuck bug has been fixed!
EDIT2: Audio out of sync problem fixed. Flash just decided to change the framerate -.-*

Press 'Q' on your Keyboard to change quality, which is recommended as this may cause lag!
Also, use Headphones for best experience :D

Finally, after sacrificing many nights and having put in a lot of effort into this Rhythm-based Flash Game (inspired by Guitar Hero and osu!)

I created the first half of the game for last year's Robot Day, but due to my ever-lasting tardiness, I never got to complete (and compete) the game, so I thought I should finish it for this year's Robot Day. Unfortunately, I am 5 days late, but I can assure you that a lot of hard work into this game, and I did start a few days prior to Robot Day, but still ended up not being able to finish the game in time. As of writing this, I haven't slept for 44 hours, because I've really wanted to complete this and still have a chance for this game to be accepted for Robot Day. I am really craving for some real sleep, and I hope I've deserved it as well :)

There may probably be bugs and other stuff due to the poor composition of this Flash, which is because I wasn't as good at Actionscript a year ago, as I am today, but I couldn't have re-programmed this Flash, so I just continued using its poor coding.

New stuff are probably going to be added (for instance, choose which part you want to play, instead of the whole thing), but here's the game for now. Please give me suggestions on what to improve and what to include for the next update, and also whether you liked this game or not, it'll be VERY MUCH appreciated!!!

Personally, I feel like this is an original idea, and I like the gameplay as well, until I played the whole thing (only tried one part at a time for testing purposes) - and I'm not really sure whether this is a good game or not anymore, hopefully you guys will tell me :)
I thought of implementing highscores, but that would be pointless as some songs are badly synced, but that is to be expected as the syncing was the hardest part (by ear). Also, you can tell that the last two stages are better created than the rest of the stages, and that would be because I made those two last stages this year, while the others last year :P

I regret using vCam, because I didn't know of its horrors until after learning more, but I had to use it since I had already implemented it :(

If anyone, by any chance, does like it, do you think I should add medals?

Damnit! After that last stage I wanna pick up Elite Beat Agents again; or at least play Osu!^^

Prid-Outing responds:

Please do it, Osu! gameplay is so much better than my failed copy, and it's really addicting :)

I was hoping this would be a platformer game, but it doesn't really matter. What does matter is that it was cool how you had different ways of playing each level. If "level" is even what you would call it. One one level, I could just put all my fingers on the keys at once and couldn't even lose points over it! Of course, that might have cost me my medal. I'm not sure, because it was really hard to get these medals, even when there were so many of them.

I had long forgotten Robot Day. I guess there are always going to be stuff we miss the first time it comes on the portal. I've listened to so much music here, it's fun to hear this stuff. I like how it has a positive beat to it. Not great, but it's worth checking out.

Thanks for a great, honest review :)

Wow, that was awesome!
I'm used to playing stepmania, but adding the spacebar end J, K, L to it certainly is a new challenger for my hands.
It sucks that my computer almost goes up in flames at times, trying to cope with the lag, even at low quality, but I shall persevere!

I didn't know that so many buttons on a keyboard would actually be a challenge, but I guess I just have too much experience with typing on the keyboard which makes it easy for me :P

Thanks a lot for the feedback, and sorry about the lag, I've tried reducing it as much as possible but it seems like it still persists. Glad you liked the game nonetheless :)

This Game Makes me Want to party This is a great game maybe we should party

Prid-Outing responds:

Let's party then ;)

A very fun an entertaining rhythm game. The different styles of game play and visuals make it pleasing to the eye and almost feel like an entirely different game. I did not have a problem with difficulty, I was able to 90%+ every song (except for one where I had to click the circles as they appeared because I played on a laptop. It was nightmarish.)
It was interesting when I played the free mode and a "bonus song" appeared where you played notes on the robots legs. I thought that feature was neat, but I think that you could change that somehow. For example, maybe change it so that when you find the song, you can play it again in the main menu. Or just have all the songs available. Although, the way it is now makes it great for replay value.
Overall a very good game!

I love the constructive review, and also the improvement you suggested - I'll surely be able to add that sometime in the future. Thanks a lot :)
