--- UPDATE: 21th July ---

So, after spending almost the equal amount of time, updating the game, I can finally proudly present to you the (almost) finished version of my game. I've implemented Newgrounds Medals, added an easier difficulty (HARD is what was before and NORMAL is same as HARD, only that some notes have been removed to decrease difficulty, courtesy of Stinkproductions for this wonderful idea), added 2 modes (Free mode, Change song), added note hit accuracy in percent, and made some hard stages a bit easier to actually make them playable and FC-able (to be able to get 100% accuracy on them). Sadly, Nyan Cat has been replaced with Cluck since it just too difficult to play with it. Restart and Menu button have been added as well for your convenience. I really, really hope you guys like this, and as for secrets (aka new songs), I'll try to add them next month or so :)

If you stumble upon any bugs, please report them to me, and the Flash sometimes flickers for a millisecond before each Stage. I am positive that it's vCam's doing, but having already implemented it, I wouldn't even have been finished with the game right now :P

EDIT: Stage 3 (The Freeze) stuck bug has been fixed!
EDIT2: Audio out of sync problem fixed. Flash just decided to change the framerate -.-*

Press 'Q' on your Keyboard to change quality, which is recommended as this may cause lag!
Also, use Headphones for best experience :D

Finally, after sacrificing many nights and having put in a lot of effort into this Rhythm-based Flash Game (inspired by Guitar Hero and osu!)

I created the first half of the game for last year's Robot Day, but due to my ever-lasting tardiness, I never got to complete (and compete) the game, so I thought I should finish it for this year's Robot Day. Unfortunately, I am 5 days late, but I can assure you that a lot of hard work into this game, and I did start a few days prior to Robot Day, but still ended up not being able to finish the game in time. As of writing this, I haven't slept for 44 hours, because I've really wanted to complete this and still have a chance for this game to be accepted for Robot Day. I am really craving for some real sleep, and I hope I've deserved it as well :)

There may probably be bugs and other stuff due to the poor composition of this Flash, which is because I wasn't as good at Actionscript a year ago, as I am today, but I couldn't have re-programmed this Flash, so I just continued using its poor coding.

New stuff are probably going to be added (for instance, choose which part you want to play, instead of the whole thing), but here's the game for now. Please give me suggestions on what to improve and what to include for the next update, and also whether you liked this game or not, it'll be VERY MUCH appreciated!!!

Personally, I feel like this is an original idea, and I like the gameplay as well, until I played the whole thing (only tried one part at a time for testing purposes) - and I'm not really sure whether this is a good game or not anymore, hopefully you guys will tell me :)
I thought of implementing highscores, but that would be pointless as some songs are badly synced, but that is to be expected as the syncing was the hardest part (by ear). Also, you can tell that the last two stages are better created than the rest of the stages, and that would be because I made those two last stages this year, while the others last year :P

I regret using vCam, because I didn't know of its horrors until after learning more, but I had to use it since I had already implemented it :(

If anyone, by any chance, does like it, do you think I should add medals?

rest in peace flash 😔

Prid-Outing responds:

RIP :(

You can still download and use Newgrounds Player to keep playing: https://www.newgrounds.com/flash/player

I appreciate someone decided to make a rhythm game which wasn't just poorly-made DDR clone number 10 thousand.

Unfortunately the rhythm is entirely off and you're better off just playing it muted and trying to eyeball it.

Prid-Outing responds:

Thanks for the response! Looking back at it, the gameplay has vast improvement potential, but that's largely due to my inferior skills at the time. However, I'm glad I managed to finish developing the game in time for Robot Day, and at the very least try to implement my idea of a better type of rhythmic game. Thanks for playing it :)

This is amazing; personally because I was trying to look up games related to Osu!, and I want to practice before getting the actual game. It's really great for others that are unable to or are unsure of downloading Osu! to their computers.
Despite the Osu! references, I really admire how there's alot of Guitar Hero references as well, since I had experience when playing it at local arcades. The concept also somewhat reminds me of FlashFlashRevolution, only though it's with the keys A,S,D,J,K,L, and the space bar. It's actually better because it gives me more space for my fingers to press the buttons. It also includes more buttons than FFR, in which I totally don't mind, rather I have something more in the category of complication; it's fun and challenging.
Overall, I am very happy that I found this, and can't wait for more songs! (I actually knew a few songs here before research)

Prid-Outing responds:

Thanks a lot! Super glad you liked it -- can't believe people still play it after all these years. I haven't made anything in Flash in years, but hopefully I'll start on a new project some time in the future :)
