a video game about dysphoria and astronauts

"Personal Trip to the Moon" is an experimental game about exploration and discovery which serves as a psychogram of a gray wasteland and its inhabitant.
It's a game about finding yourself 384400 kilometers away from home.

Music: "Une chute sans fin" by "Another Moon" (Sébastien Lombard).
Special thanks to azrafe7 and everyone from the FlashPunk forums.

"Personal Trip to the Moon" is the first game I have ever managed to release and as the title suggests it is a very personal project.
Any kind of feedback is highly apreciated and please keep an open mind while playing. Thank you.

I'm not sure what exactly is going on here, but what ever the hell it is good.

The lagging controls render this unplayable. The idea seemed nice and the audio gave a great sense of uncertainty but this just cant be played as is. Log in to your NG account and try playing what you have uploaded and you will see what I mean.

Performance can be a bit of an issue, I'm sorry about that. I tried my best at optimizing it. It is working fine here but it might help if you change the quality setting or close some programs in the background / other flash applications.

Sorry, you left no instructions on how to play this game. I've made it to the repairing of the lander and that's it. I've discovered through button mashing that the addition and subtraction keys located on the num-pad turn on and off a series of square lights at the top of the screen, as well as the 0 key turning the entire set on and off. The concept is really cool, I dig the personal trip to the moon, and the he can fly thing, really cool. The music was great as well, great choice. Work on instructions and this would be a great game.

VOEC responds:

Yes, thank you. I think I forgot to include that part. While most of the controls are explained ingame I forgot to explain the volume control. 0 mutes and unmutes the sound, and the plus and minus keys change the volume. I will edit the description to make the controls a bit more clear. If you are stuck while getting all the parts, try holding "C", you should see a compass that shows you the way. (EDIT: and if your stuck at the end, just talk to the astronauts)

Thanks for the feedback, I might make a few adjustments to the movement speed. I'll try that.
