This game needs sound.
Button layout is counter-intuitive. Nobody makes "D" attack and "A" defend/block.
I can't even get past the beginning because enemies don't have an attack tell, which makes fighting unreasonably difficult and no fun at all. When you get a game over you have to start the whole game over from the beginning, and the intro cannot be skipped.
The only thing about the first 30 seconds of this game so far is the art.
Iffy hit detection, tanky enemies, and weak methods of both offense and defense make this game reasonably more challenging than it is fun. Projectiles will often explode near you, disappear, but still do damage to the player if that area is touched for another second of so. 2D Dark Souls with clunkier movement and abilities basically.
well, I'm stuck on the bee queen. and I don't plan on getting any further. This game is UNFAIR! And its a shame because I can see it wasn't intentional. Countless times i was killed because the enemies attacked at the exact moment my stun wore off, sending me in an inescapable damage loop. that's not a sign of high difficulty, its one of poor game design. most of your other games (that I've seen) arn't action games like this one, and the lack of experience shows. Its a pity, because if you turn down the difficulty from whatever madness you set it to, this would be one of your best games. instead of the mess it turned out to be.
I'm really enjoing it so far, it's a great game. But i found a bug. At the bee boss (how ironic) after i beat them i can't go further.
Tip for the controls. It is so god damn annoying to have to play with WASD, the arrow keys AND the mouse. I only have two hands and switching back and forth with one hand is tedious and annoying.
