Honestly, I really really liked it. If anything it made me nostalgic for the games back in the 80's where you had to figure it out, and modern luxuries like accurate physics, pause buttons etc. were not exactly the standard ! I loved every aspect of the game especially the music, I found it really catchy.

A very frustrating game, but with just a little tweaking, it could be awesome. First, the music is extremely loud and annoying and there's no mute button. I had to turn off my speakers. Secondly, there's no checkpoints, so if I die I go all the way back to the beginning of the level. Plus, if I die by falling off, I don't get my hearts back so I have to restart the level with less health than originally. Thirdly, I wish I could use up to jump instead of Z, and I've noticed that when I land after jumping, I slide a little, making precision jumps very difficult. In addition, there's no pause menu. And please don't run an advertisement between levels (although I'm not sure if that's controlled by the game designer or the site itself). And now for the good part: the gameplay itself is very fun, the graphics are great, there's a nice variety of enemies, and plenty of potential. With just a little bit of work, you could have a solid 4 stars at least.

It really neds a story and betteer controls . There should be a reason to pick the blue gemstones up like upgrading your character.
