great game love the concept. and it made things more difficult with the ammo because it made you think of what to use and how and when to use it. i for one at one point figgured out to use a rifel and a machine gun for most of the game and your partner should have the granade launcher at the higher level and an smg awsome for what is needed to go through this gme eaily for me. hope to see another one of your works soon
This is fantastic! Contrary to what a lot of people are saying, I think the ammo setup is kind of cool...at times. It makes you manage your ammo stocks and have to work out strategies based off of them. Really, love the two-person setup and love the zombie types. I LOVE the elephants. The horses (that explode) are great for crowd control!
Great game, Improved upon the last game and was very fun and challenging. My only complaint is that I wish that the game had 2 player multiplayer, it already has an A.I controlled partner so having a friend join you would make it perfect. Awesome game though.
Really fun game for a little while. It got pretty bland around wave 9 or so. Overall I stopped around level 9 or so. I'm not sure how the game plays out past that point, however, I would suggest maybe adding some kind of story line to it or something. Change the scenery of what you're shooting at. That alone would improve the game a whole lot. Sure there were different mobs racing towards you on random crap, but it was extremely predictable and, well, boring.
Maybe add in different 'zones' after every 5-6 levels to keep it fresh, with some sort of small story behind it (cutscenes anyone). Maybe change the way ammo drops too. I would go forever without getting the ammo I needed for 1 specific gun which would often result in using my pistol more often than not which isn't very engaging for the game.
TL;DR: Overall, it's a great game but it got boring after a while, same scenery, same predictable zombie mobs.
I really had no idea this game was going to be so much fun! It probably helps that I'm just a huge fan of zombie shooters in general. What made this so great was probably how all of the zombies had unique details. In fact, I was reviewing another zombie game just yesterday that lacked that feature. Of course, this wasn't really that much better, both were great. Anyway, I couldn't help but be reminded of "VG Cats".
I guess it's just because that's the most well known humanoid boy and girl cat duo out there. I just freaking love cats so much. So combining them with zombies was of course a great idea. I thought my partner was throwing grenades or something but it was just the donkey blowing up. I love that guy.
