For the last 4 months I have been working on my bachelor project, which is a concept for a game that would help teenagers deal with grief.

What you see above is a small introductory game that just explains the premiss for the game. If you would like to know more about the concept, please go to http://sylvesterhansen.wo

As a couple of people have commented o the same things, I will just explain myself. this project is glitchy as hell, I know. I am not a very skilled programmer, and have focused mainly on the visual part of this project. This game was never intended to be more than a quick demo illustrating the story of a much larger project. I am really happy that so many people have been possitive about the project, though. so thank you for all of the comments

Good grief...

Maybe I've missed the point, but holding down an an arrow key for 10 minutes watching buildings go by seems pretty pointless. I don't understand how this is supposed to help anyone or be fun or have any reason to exist.

My finger kind of hurts from holing down the key, so maybe that's supposed to mean something? As a movie it might have been better since I wouldn't have cramped my hand, but only slightly. I guess I'm just confused by it.

Wow! This seems like it has quite a bit of potential! I love what I've seen so far, and it seems as if you'll be able to get to some incredibly meaningful results with this concept of yours! I'll be eagerly awaiting the full game. (Although I would try and find a code-oriented friend to help out with some of the glitches!) I wish you the best of luck!

I merely forgot, what was the meaning of grief (though im no native-speaker). when i passed the crying child i remembered the meaning again and was like "uff... aweful" nice artstyles working together. more, please!

The giant chicken pecking the green car and the dog praying like an Islamic were both a bit disturbing.

Well, I'm a jerk, I know.

Seriously speaking, your use of cinematic techniques, the minimalistic graphic followed by the higher res one are all really interesting aspects of a game that I hope will see the light sooner or later.

The setting and the music and sfx are ok, but please don't underestimate the importance of a solid code.

Also, your premises about grief don't make sense with the current version of the game, so I'd suggest you remove that part from your notes, until you actually incorporate that element.

I look forward to see something nice coming out of this.

Best luck,
