A pilot episode introducing two new characters, Amanda and Brandon!
Ever felt really annoyed by people asking for your answers? No? Then here you go, a poor 2D dramatization!
Right after the clip, you get to choose:
1) Two different musical interpretation of the credits by two different composers (to contact any of the contributors of this project, just click on their names as the credits roll)
2) Random lines from Amanda and Brandon
3) To replay, of course.
I'm not sure where these two characters can go. Perhaps future plots may be based on some real life experiences, but having the story end in a weird (hopefully entertaining) way. I'm keeping an open mind; that means occasionally defying law of physics.
Credits to:
Jamie Lewis : Music and Sound Design, End Theme
Adam Thorton : Original End Theme
Trish Monotori Ferrete : Voice of Amanda/Librarian, Dialogue editor
Sean Chiplock : Voice of Brandon, Dialogue editor
Me (Jace Chan) : Animation and scriptwriting
Jack Yap : Making the upload in Newgrounds possible (due to some annoying internet constraints)
Side Note:
I do realize the storyboard is a little...amateur. Or putting it simply, bad. But by the time I realized that it was too much of a waste to abandon it (was half-way through the animating process). Though, the random lines are more entertaining, so check them out. Don't forget to check out Adam and Jamie's amazing composition (the credits). Don't ask why there are two though; it's complicated.
Another episode is being made at the moment; I promise it'll be better than this; both plot and animation wise.
Oh and, I've used some of the visuals from the Newgrounds Preloader.

I actually find this to be truly cute. I liked the simple animation and the typical annoying boy that wants answers!
This is probably more targeted towards an everyone's audience, so I can kind of see why the humor is mild due to some 'perverted minded' people here. Then again, I am perverted and I found this flash pretty dang funny. Keep up the good work. You'll improve, most definitely.
By the way, is your style supposed to look like the creators of Fairly Oddparents? If so, you really got it down!

JaceC responds:

Thank you very much for reviewing! You just made my day! And well, I have to admit, I do study their cartoons for my animations.

i hate when people ask me for answers. animation style good. humor not so great. muscial sound effects overused made it to cartoony (i know its an animation, but still ) over all positive

Thank you for taking the time to review! Will try to improve!

i agree the humor and art syle was unoriginal the quality is there, just come up with more original stuff and it could be better. that said i think adams credits are better by a long shot

Great little video. Loved the animation, and the style reminded me greatly of a certain Nickelodeon TV show (you know what it is).

Love it. 4.5/5
