I have to say; this is pretty nice.
It's good to see some potentially cookie worthy animation these days.
The two characters are well drawn, and the dialogue is very well done.
But, although fluid animation during dialogue is effective at any level, in a combat scene if the animation don't flow fluidly enough, then maybe it shouldn't "flow" at all.
Still combat animation (like in... Dragon ball?) Where the transition to the characters next position is not shown is sometimes more appropriate.
The parts where Dark L. got up close and personal with the old guy are very close to what I'm describing.
