Hi. Welcome to Newgrounds.

Don't submit tests. This isn't Testgrounds. Newgrounds is for people to show their finished items. This isn't finished, so why submit a part or a bit, y'know?

The problem is not if it's bad, but rather if it's good. When it's bad, it gets a low score and gets blammed and is forgotten and gone. Done.

If it's a 'good' piece, then people get confused and may pass it. The problem is that then we've got a fragment of a piece of a bit of a game floating around newgrounds forever, and what's the point of that? That's not what Newgrounds is about.

What's here isn't bad. But if it passes, it'll be forever unfinished, because if you complete this into a full game, you'll submit the finished item as a separate item and we'll have both finished and unfinished items floating around here, and that's not what Newgrounds is for.

It's not bad. Just, please send thru completed items. :) Finish, THEN submit.

AriWaveDev responds:

good point but to be totally clear, if this passes, is it that i can then not change the swf for an updated version in any way? only submit a new separate version?... does that also work the same way when its only being set to be privately viewed? if so i understand your concern, loads of unfinished bits of games all over the place cannot be a good thing i agree!

There isn't much to judge here. Tech demos usually show off something new or innovative, this does neither.

I don't care for how the player slides when the platforms change direction. It would be better if he were rooted.

AriWaveDev responds:

its not a tech demo yet, as it says in the description its just purely a gameplay test demo. i agree with the sliding thing, i will slow down the platforms and tweak the physics to sort this out i think, thanks for the comment.

Neat-o, definitely has potential
