Thinking that they have escaped Bowser's grasp, Mario and Luigi let their guard down at the last minute only to be captured along with the Princess. Now the quest to escape the castle and to embark on the dangerous trek home begins all over again.
I made these a while back in 2004 when i was teaching myself how to use Macromedia flash. It started off as a few tests but eventually it turned into a series of random Mario videos. I had no idea what i was doing when i made these videos lol. I actually took the time/effort to cut out each of the individual sprites from the ZSNES Super Nintendo emulator manually instead of using sprite sheets which can explain the crappy graphic GIF quality on most of the sprites.
They are mainly just random test videos. If you don't like them, i can't really blame you since i made them so many years ago. I mainly just uploaded them for a few friends that wanted to see them. I have no intention of going back and finishing this series, they are "as is". I admit that the quality isn't the best and the animation is choppy but i feel like it adds to the charm along with the randomness of the humor.

I didn't like this probably because it just went on too long. I didn't know when this thing was going to stop. I thought that it would be a tribute to the Rise Of The Mushroom Kingdom cartoons by Randy-Solem. While it was a tad similar, I couldn't really understand it. Why was Luigi killing all these innocent toads? I guess it doesn't help that I didn't see the originals.
I have to congradulate you on having such a high ranked submission. There were too many things that were annoying. The toads just screamed too much. Then again, that did kind of make it more satisfying when they died. The artwork didn't seem that good either.
can it be taht you dont like toads?
I love this mini series. By the way, can you give me the link to the website you got the sounds? Cuz you know at the ending it gives you the address, but it keeps saying its invalid and I can't copy and paste it.

This is where i got most of them from a long time ago, but since then i've ripped most of the sound effects myself for higher quality for use with future projects that i worked/am working on. I kept the lower quality sound effects in my flash videos on newgrounds to keep the file size down but i'm considering going back and replacing them with the higher quality ones and re-uploading the updated flash videos... I haven't decided if i want to or not yet though.
I always hated the toads. YOU ARE A GENIUS!!!
