After watching this I am...I'm not sure.
Amazing animation, the color contrasts and detail between the two cities made a statement that words take too long to express and lose some of the meaning along the way.
The music choice was expertly made. They set the mood, as always, and were not once out of place.
Character design was fitting for the style and setting.
Voice-acting was better than some of the anime shows I watch.
Story...sad, and makes me better appreciate that which I've already got.
Final conclusion: If I didn't know any better, I'd say ya'll are paid professionals.
Did you draw inspiration for some of these parts from the movies 'The Island' and 'The Matrix? It seemed like it a bit.
I take it that bit with him leaping into the hologram was part of a dream of him seeing what was before he went under sort of like the man being hanged will see those he (or she) may have loved before he/she dies?
In regards to those who are in the artificial bodies, are they like, really really old people that found away to leech off of others, or do they not realize what's really going on?
Lastly, how long did it take ya'll to make this, and are you considering making another in the future?
