Hello Newgrounds! I missed you.
I finally have the opportunity to show you LUCKY DAY FOREVER. Completed 2011, premiering at last online NOW, right here on Newgrounds!

"Prole 514 dreams about winning the Great Lottery. The lottery winner is transformed and allowed admission into the elite White society, where everyone is beautiful, young and happy and people spend their carefree lives solely on fun and partying. One day, 514's wish comes true... but was this what he really wanted?"

Thanks for all the great feedback and reviews, kind and less kind alike! Yes, I do read them all.

Well animated, your storyline is good, and its very dramatic in a slow paced kind of way.

You had me guessing what was going to happen next through the entire video, well done.

The plot of this is phenomenal. Its ground-breaking to say the least. I was glued to my computer screen waiting for each event to uncover what was going happen and I have to say I was actually quite shocked at the ending. I hope you will make many more great videos.

You know, it's flash movies like THIS that make Newgrounds what it is today: a site that is known not only for it's amazing (if oftentimes immature) content, but for featuring practically everything BY everyone. This...is tied with Tarboy as my favorite flash video on this site; however, Tarboy is awesome to me for my personal history with it, while Lucky Day Forever is amazing for more concrete reasons. Just to list a few: a brilliant message, that materialism isn't what gives us our humanity, but instead detracts frm it; a distopian future that is alien in design and yet still hauntingly familiar to our current time; and music that, while mostly subtle and unnoticeable, just adds to the atmoshere, especially in the last three minutes. While this isn't my favorite flash on the entire site (THAT still goes to the classic There She Is! series), this is still a masterpiece that everyone needs to see at least once. This gets a full 10/10, not just because it's good, but because it would be an INSULT for me to rank it any lower.
