In case anyone needs help or wants a better time score, I got the map by putting all the screens together: http://i.imgur.com/aZNPfxS.png
Good luck.

Hi! I’m here waving at you this weekend because we’re hoping to continue to move Newgrounds away from ads. If you have $3 per month or $25 per year to spare, please consider becoming a Supporter today!

Created as part of the Mini LD #34 competion over a few hours last weekend, the aim of which was to create a game confined to certain bizarre aspect ratios. In this case, 18x64. However, to get it accepted on Newgrounds I upscaled it 8x. You can play the original at http://omgames.co.uk/smal lminild.html
Collect all the gold in the shortest time possible (personal best is 133 seconds)
Up/left/right to move and jump
K to restart the level
SPACE show the map and gold remaining
Press any key to start
UPDATE: made a few changes based on the great feedback so far...
-Added medals! I think...Someone please let me know if it works
-Added WASD controls
-Tweaked the level design a little to prevent the player getting stuck in a few areas
-Hold down the spacebar to see how much gold you have left to collect
-Working on a map...Stay tuned!
UPDATE 2:
-Map is now done, just hold down the space bar to see where you are and where the gold is
-Added high scores!

I'm not trying to hate or anything but I didn't really like this. I saw it after I beat Bertie the Butcher and thought Cool another pixel game. It was but it wasn't what I expected. You couldve done better :/
A great and small game that functions well.
It's not very in-depth, but LD games rarely are.
My only complaint is that the medals aren't all-inclusive. If you beat the game in 140 seconds, like I did, for example, you have to also beat it in over 200 seconds, and between 150-200 seconds to get the less skillful medals. This seems like bad achievement design to me.
As for getting under 110...gah. Can't do it.
This was a pretty fun speedrunner.
Short enough to have me motivated to play it several times and yet complicated enough to keep it challenging. Changing the screens was sometimes a bit glitchy and yeah the enviroment was rather plain. But those are minor issues in a speedrunner - so good job!
865 Sec -.-
