i can't win the hard mode because it's too hard but it's still a cool game

Poor art and boring gameplay, not every concept turns in a work of art.
With the lame excuse of "skills" this game pretend to justify the absence of real controls. And story.
And purpose.

My bad, thought the Hard Mode was just and endless one :p well that makes your game quite cooler :D

ClockworkMonster responds:

mmm... Endless mode could be interesting in a sequel. I'll think about that.

@ClockWorkMonster Yeah yeah, you say that, but I agree with Master120, this is an unbearable violation of whatever rights tentacle beasts may have, plus he can't act like sending flower would be an absolute win with any intelligent, pacific creature. I mean, for all we know sending them alien stuff grown from the dirt up there is pretty much considered like wanting them to find a box of flaming, razor stuffed crap in their mailbox. That ghost is a jerk.

That being said, nice game :D I personnally love runner games, and mixing one with some shooter elements is a great idea. The art may be minimalistic, but pretty decent, and the gameplay is simple enough to prevent us from choking out of sheer rage when we get surrounded while blasting a boss away, WHILE jumping over stuff.
Now, much like most games of its genre, yours could use a little bit of variety, maybe with traps or collapsing platforms like in canabalt, or you could even implement some "hardcore" mode where the running is faster-paced.
This still is solid work as it is, loved it ! Keep it up :)

ClockworkMonster responds:

There is a hard mode, faster and with no powerups (only score ones).
More stuff wiull be added in the sequel.

I'll also add a message: "DISCLAIMER: No real tentacled monsters were harmed in the making of this game. Don't try to send flowers to ancient octopi creatures at home. Leave that to professionals"

This idiot wouldn't be being chased by monsters if he weren't constantly running and firing his gun. Has he even heard of stealth for god's sake? He doesn't even know if what he's killing are evil, but he's shooting his gun right off the bat anyways! For all we know these 'monsters' are simply defending their home from this run&gun lunatic.

0 stars for an awful story and a unlikable protagonist.

ClockworkMonster responds:

Well, the character is a ghost when the game begins for a reason: He has already been killed by the monsters. Many times.

He tried to communicate with monsters (even sent them flowers and chocolates), but they doesn't seem to appreciate those details.

I suspect they have some kind of racial prejudice against humans...

Also, stealth is "very useful" when there is absolutely nothing you can use to hide... Have you seen any tree or rock?

I suppose that it is a good reason to run and shoot.
