We've taken all the popular features from the original "casual" bullet hell DN8, the evolving power-ups, being able to select your own path, the random soundtrack and pushed them forward with the use of stage3D*.

Also new to this version are unlockable perks, along with more challenges than before.

Enjoy the destruction.

*The game defaults to 30fps to enable it to run on the widest majority of machines. If you've got a good graphics card please go to Options > Graphics and knock it up to 60.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to using stage3D ( ie GPU Acceleration ) this won't work on all machines. If it doesn't work on yours please accept our apologies in advance for your wasted time.

Perk bug fixed
If the GPU isn't compatible, software mode still allows you to play the game ( Although it won't be great ).

Medals should be fixed ( Sorry about that ).
Suicide kills no longer work on bosses ( Thanks everyone who pointed that out ).
Experimental fullscreen mode. It only allows mouse controls, and space to pause. This is more GPU heavy so in some cases performance may be reduced.

Minor tweaks.

Dn8 is a great shooter. The techno beat actually isnt bad at all, it compliments the brilliant colors and pacing of the game. The upgrade tree is a nice touch, it makes the game different on each playthrough. All in all this is a well made game and I hope to see more in the future from you. Keep up the good work!

Good game overall, the only part I did not like was that your could run into bosses and kill them in one hit.

Great game. Could use more power ups and more stages. Leaves you hanging once you finish it.

Quite nice. Taking the "easier" defensive path made the game almost a snooze, but it's still fun to throw yourself into a shooter like that with god-like power. On the other hand, the "harder" offensive path was a nice challenge, though not too hard, at least with mouse controls. Controls are tight enough to really "thread the needle" between shots and get in some awesome grazes. Can't imagine trying to play with keyboard. Anyway, very fun game. Cheers!

Thanks :)
The keyboard controls were only added because quite a lot of people complained about the lack of them in the original, but yeah, it should always be played with the mouse, its much better.

As to the God-like power, I always want the player to feel like the baddest thing on the screen, you should always be able to feel like you can beat anything the game can throw at you. Sometimes its fun to grind your way through power-ups so you get a sense of reward for getting them, sometimes its fun just to kick ass really early on.

Really enjoyed the game.

First time I tried to play on the 2nd level the ships wouldnt die. I could hit them and it registered that and showed the points above the baddie. But they wouldnt die and after the level it didnt continue to the upgrades screen.

After I refreshed it was all good. Didnt know if you heard of this happening. Thanks.
