Hey,
This is an exploration of abstraction, more specifically, the photographic technique called "Bokeh". There's not much of a plot, and it's admittedly a little short, but despite its flaws i hope you can still enjoy it.
The music is made by me too and i'll put it on the audio portal tomorrow.
I'd be grateful for any criticisms or suggestions for improvement you might have!

Thanks for watching.

EDIT: Just noticed the audio is out of sync. Annoying.

Nice atmosphere!

I concur with what Zanroth said on this regarding the lack of recognition. However, I would like to see your Bokeh technique applied to something more substantial.

Animation: The animation wasn't the real focus on this, but it was some decent FbF combined with clever tweening. As for the Bokeh effect, it was well done though I would advise you to go easy on the filters. Did I mention that you also made some nice color choices?
Music: It wasn't much, but that default midi was alright for a test such as this.
Content: This is the only thing that I didn't like about this. It wasn't bad by any means, but due to the fact that it was a tech demo; there wasn't much in terms of content. With that being said, you did a great job on setting an atmosphere with this.

[+]
-Nice use of texture
-Decent animation
-Good tone
-Fitting color selection

[-]
-Music could have been better in terms of atmosphere
-The fact that this is a demo

Overall: Here's an eight out of ten from me, and just keep at it. (4/5)

PIED3 responds:

Thank you very much for the detailed review! Fair comments throughout and nothing i disagree with you on. Cheers for the 8

The lack of focus, plot-wise, and visually, was a good choice. Audio was majestic and spiritual, like a spiritual and majestic lion.

PIED3 responds:

Ah, a majestic and spritual lion, that is wonderful! Thank you very much for the review.

I like the style of the drawings! I would love to see more in this style. I like the music, though as for the dreamy shots, i would have chosen for something more...dreamy music :P

PIED3 responds:

Hmm, i wanted to have create a grand and menacing feeling with the music but i suppose the slow shots caused some disparity betweeen elements. Thanks for the 10 and review!

It's a bit short, but an interesting abstract work.
I find it odd that this isn't getting more attention.

PIED3 responds:

Thanks

Interesting idea, although everything being blurry seemed off. At the very least I think the beer mug should have been in focus at first - the impression I got was that the character was getting drunk. The drawing needs work - it seems awfully rough. Could've been longer, even with no plot. The music didn't seem to fit. Nice effort though; I liked the lighting.

PIED3 responds:

Mmm, i initially had the mug in focus but it looked a little jarring. I'm glad you got the sense of drunkenness because that's what i was going for! Thanks for the review
