I have an theory from madness transportation. So Deimos's alarm didn't wake him up we know that and at the madness transportation description that Sanford left Deimos that's why at the beginning of this video we see Sanford on his own only when Hank came to help

I really enjoyed this when I was a little kid!It's kinda like time travel from Madness combat 6 to Madness combat 10.May be that's why Sanfort traveled to the past!I like this Ragtime song very much.If I only I could get it as an MP3.Also,it was a great idea to keep the possessed soldat's face still white!
