One thing here not doing it for me. Everything else is awesome. The scoring needs to be more kinetic. Did I just drop one 2-element piece and convert half of the elements into higher elements? Yes. Did my score go up? No....what....wait...it went.....down? Well that sucksballs...wtf?
If you really intend on "free forever" then it's fine the way it is.
You could make a lot of money with this game (on the phone market) using a more rewarding scoring system, more/higher elements, different levels, and a way around the "completely random" factor (such as an element hot-swapping mechanic).
4.5 / 5 stars
Minus 1/2 star for scoring system.
Minus 1/2 star for "random factor" in a skill-based game
Other than that, nice to see some fun breathed back into what I thought was a very played out, basic game concept (tetris, dr. mario, bejeweled, hexic, etc, etc.). The music and ambiance fits the title well, as well as maintaining player attention without subtracting from focus. The controls are obviously for touch devices so I forgive how sloppy they feel on a mouse. Visual effects aren't over-the-top (which is nice; but they could be a tiny bit more dazzling without taking away from the feel of the game).
I'd go into more detail, but I'm out of what little spare time I have.
