Well, I've been trying to get back into Flash Animating recently, and this has meant learning to use it all again. I'm quite pleased with how it has turned out, although the legs movement needs work

Hey there man, basically my main piece of advice to you is you can't be lazy. The most important part of a run cycle is you take your time and plan carefully how the character will move. Dont forget that the whole characters body will move, not just his legs. This is important to make the run cycle look more natural. Also when you start drawing start with the main stages of a walk. The points at which each leg are highest from the ground and then work your way though adding more frames, making the motion more smooth.

Animation is horrible, no story at all, sound is horrible

It's a little complicated... a little.
-Joints are important. There are joints in the knee and joints in the ankle that should bend while your person walks.
-Start with the feet and body frame, first. The feet will be level with the ground for part of the cycle, then they'll come up slightly. Make sure the knees and ankles bend to naturally fit where the feet are at certain points in the cycle.
-Study the way real people walk. The cycle varies a little, depending on how fast the subject is moving. From the looks of it, he should almost be jogging, though. The coulds that pass by his head make it look like he's moving fast.

It's good that you added color, music, and background elements so there is a little more going on. Keep trying, though. You show promise.

Nice! My favorite part is the walking (duh) but I also like the text at the top :D

Oh, and for the legs, you just need to show the knees bending a bit, then it should fix itself.

Good Job!
