Stockholders, chocolate, etc, happy april fools.

now the NG version had a lot of the flashy effects thrown out of the window because there are too many flash apps on the screen already

so if you want to play the version with full effects and NO LAG, follow this link:

Sorry for not working this out properly.

--- known issues ---
1. jumping through lava pit will make your character disappear: please do not attempt to access unfinished content
2. slide kicking Zealotus to death will make your character disappear: my bad

also will include map and keyboard based dialogue in future releases, thanks for the complaints, meant a lot.

Nice SOTN ripoff

wish i knew how to SAVE

like wickebine but more hard would play again.

The game is great! Smooth controls and good level design make this game perfect to spend some time after job.
But I've got a question - did you draw all the characters by yourself or you just took it from another game? At first I thought they are from Ragnarok, but perspective differs.

ShadowWhoWalks responds:

Nice catch!

Character assets are all from Ragnarok online, but many of them were custom drawn. The running animation for instance is made using a lot of tinkering and sprite editing, since none of the characters have running animations in the original RO game.

Honestly one of the best flash games I've ever played. I love the side scrolling action mixed with RO. Your work brings back great RO memories! Can't wait for the next installment.
