I just wanted to post my latest project. It's not good, but at least it's done!
EDIT: I suppose this should have been put in the experimental category. This is for my intro to media class and only my third attempt at flash animation. Thank you to the people who offered constructive critism. And to the person who said I should show it to my friends. That's what uploading it here was. If you know of a better site to upload this kind of flash, please let me know. Again, this isn't meant to impress the internet, by no means can it. Oh and the professor apparently knows nothing about Pokemon.
I have to agree with what most people are saying.. I feel like im trying to be informed about new information or as if im trying to be taught, but practically everyone knows the information your giving out. You could put each of the paragraphs you wrote into a small one sentence summary.
For Example, What is Pokemon Evolution?
From unknown causes, Pokemon evolve and gain strength..
This was a little more entertaining to look at since you did include animation, since we get to see the processes they go through. Yet it lacked the quality we needed to see.
However, It wasn't all too bad. I did like the idea, the menu was nice. (The Pikachu) and you did alright with the sounds too. Not to mention, the Pika-Song was something new too.
This is hardly an act of creativity. Its a repeat of infomation that people already know. I've seen 5th grader reports that are about as complex as this. So I don't think this is worth being on newgrounds. Share it with your friends instead, I'm sure they'll be more impressed.
As much as I love Pokemon this isn't the best video about said show.
However the fact that this video gave my little cousin an idea on what Pokemon is like raises it's score from zero to one. And the fact that this is an interactive video with poor yet really cartoonish graphics raises it score from one to three. And the last thing that turns this into a 3.5 star review is that it's about pokemon! So the final rating is 3.5 stars
It is a very good explanation and a nice presentation. Really all that it could have used was better graphics or changes from pokemon to pokemon, and better music and sound quality. Other than that it was fine.
I like pokemon more than most things so this was pretty interesting. I pretended to be a newcomer to pokemon so that I could better enhance my review for this and "learn" things about evolution again.
OVERVIEW: Good presentation, Ok Sound, Slightly poor graphics but not a "handicap", and overall a nice animation/Presentation.
