NO NO NO!!!! WE can't let her take our precious's away... she wanted to harm us.. she did not love us... we couldn't let her take it away from us... she knew the secret.... I had to do it... if she loved me she would of told us... and given the precious's up...

A game that tries to hard to be a book that tries to hard to be a movie.

Artistic does not mean slow. It means there's a piece of the creators soul that he/she put onto a an object, may that object be canvas, MSword, javascript, etc.

There's nothing deep at all about this, nothing personal. It's just some crappy music that sets more of the tone of the game then any of the text or gameplay. I don't want to have watch a game or play a movie. I just want to get into it, albeit an art game, then I want to feel the creators personification inside the game.

The 'protagonist' is to obscure to relate to, and the story is to obscure to follow. Long story short, your unrelatable character slowly separates and eventually dissolves any course of relatability through whiny dialogue, and pointless choices, which causes this boring, whiny, hipster inspired loser to make stupid decisions.

That's the complete opposite of what I want from a game/book/movie/etc. It's played out, it's generic, it's annoying.

Not very stimulating. Despite all the text, the protagonist's way of thinking is still unclear. The abnormal course of action separates the player from the character too much. And we're supposed to be helping him be a monster? As if.
His whiny monologue only serves to separate the player further. I drowned him just to shut him up. Brooding psychopaths are for Twihards.


Dude kills a girl, and they love each other in death? Bull. If the woman could fall in love with the guy that brutally attacked and murdered her, she's just as crazy as he is.

Whee! Just high scored for the day! I felt like I needed to get the most out of this game so I went back and played again, except this time I minimalised my click count and chose life over death.

Raptus is definitely the most emotionally enticing point-and-click game I've seen on NG to date. The concept and story gave me chills along with the on-screen prompts to "PUSH HIM" and "CLICK FASTER," persuading me to continue like the voice in my head. A full 5 star piece of interactive performance and it'll be hard to beat in the near future. ;D
