To be honest, it's hard to care for the characters when there's no character development whatsoever. For a game like this, you need character development, the player has to actually care for what's happening in order to feel anything. This whole experience was shallow. All I got out of it was a guy that "loves" a girl but that "love" turned out to just be him killing her for no good reason. Do I know why he would do such a thing? No, because I don't know anything about either of the characters. Should I care for why he did such a thing? Well with no connection to the characters they're both just so forgettable. Also, why bother keeping track of the number of clicks it took and the time it took to get to the end? What, do you expect someone to be like "O HAY GUISE CHEK AWHT MAH SP33D RUN OF RAPTUS! IN ONLY ### CLICKZ! BEET DAT!"

Anyway, this type of game needs to connect to the player, it needs to make him/her feel and know why these things occurred this way. If a prequel to this was made or something that ties everything together and gives the characters more personality than a stick in the mud then it would be a pretty interesting experience. But right now? I didn't feel any feels.

Oh but, good thing is, the author definitely nailed the soundtrack plus what's happening on screen accordingly, I just LOVED it how the lightning would flash every time the song does that strum.

THEN WHY IS THERE A TIME AND CLICK COUNT? HOW DO YOU KEEP SCORE IN AN INTERACTIVE FICTION? YOU DON'T, YOU DON'T COUNT ANYTHING.

That final screen should have been something about natural of love based on the players final decision. Except the message is in an achievement and the message location has been replaced with a score.

I don't even know why this makes me so made.

I'm not even mad at all the click and the terrible story system, but you counted my clicks with your shitty story telling system?

this game was so slow



I enjoyed the soundtrack and how it tied in with everything that was happening with the story. However, i could not connect to the two characters deeply enough to care about them or their fate.
That said, the story itself is quite morbid and dark, and it is effectively shown throughout the piece. But still, i was not moved by anything, as i had no rapport with neither the male or female. This could have been given with maybe a bit of back story. Maybe the guy was a drunken loner who was seeing a psychiatrist, or maybe the girl was a prostitute who has a PTSD due to being beaten by her ex boyfriend, who she murdered, or was witness to his murder. I don't know, i am no game creator. These are just some of the things that can be implemented to a character to make him/her seem more of a person who, when killing his girlfriend or being murdered by her boyfriend, is flawed.
All i got from the portrayal of the characters is that he is a creep.
2 stars, purely due to the stunning combination of soundtrack and visuals.

Good game could have made it better like get rid of the shimmering when you click and make the text a bit brighter but overall 2.5 stars for music and 1.5 stars for art.
