Sure you added more skills but if you look at the original game you took the concept from, that display was better. Their art style, the user interface, etc made it really clear how many turns are left until spawn, what your hp is, etc. I would try to redesign this so that it makes it really clear what all the important things are.

Characters attacks and special powers:
WARRIOR:
- AXE SWING: kill an adjacent group of enemies.
- POWER JUMP: kill a group of enemies two tiles away.
- SHIELD CHARGE: kill all the enemies in a straight line.
- BERSERKER RAGE: kill all the adjacent groups of enemies.
ROGUE:
- DAGGER JAB: kill an adjacent group of enemies.
- THROWING DAGGER: kill a group of enemies two tiles away.
- SNEAK ATTACK: kill an adjacent group and convert the orbs to HP.
- FORCE SPAWN: force the enemies to respawn.
WIZARD:
- WHIRLWIND: kill an adjacent group of enemies.
- POLYMORPH: randomly transform an adjacent group of enemies.
- FIREBALL: kill a group of enemies anywere on the map.
- DIMENSION DOOR: change places with an enemy.
