Traitor puts you into the shoes of a soldier of the Augustan Hegemony, forced to rise up against your former masters after you're ordered to do something you simply cannot accept. Explore the Aventinus Complex, complete missions, upgrade your ship and gather allies until you can overthrow the tyrants who have brought such misery to the people.

[Note: If you're playing in Firefox and experience odd control problems, try switching to Chrome or Opera.]

[Current version: 1.7]

TIPS:
1. The game opens up after the 4th mission, when you reach the map.
2. Upgrades are available in shops on the map screen.
3. The menu allows you to see your stats, achievements and allies.
4. If a mission is too difficult, try playing a different one and upgrading your ship.
5. In some situations, survival is more important than destroying all enemy ships.

MEDALS:
If your medals aren't unlocking, this is probably because the NG server is having some hiccups. Try reloading the page and see if the preloader ad is being displayed. Then go to the in-game Achievements screen; the game will try to unlock any medals you should already have.

Reviews

cool game but there are some bugs.

for example the game freezes often at advanced game-progress.

Great job, man. I just really, really would love it if you added some different weapons and enemy behavior - I feel like you're so close to even better gameplay. It stands out in the Arena that the enemies don't react to you at all, it would be so great if a few of them tried to aim at you and avoid your shots or something.

not bad, i found power and fire rate more helpful than health and ship speed

good game, but there a some bugs. like to the side disapearing ships, two cannons that shoot like one, two cannons but they do damage like one, speed upgrades for the cannons are not fast enough and, after getting speed upgrades for the ship, the movements are lagging so that i crush sometimes into enemys/rocks.

Wait, why do we have the choice between attacking or not the Medical Supplies Fleet if it doesn't change anything in the game? I thought it'd be Game Over or something, but, nothing at all?

JonasKyratzes responds:

a) Because it's primarily a moral choice.
b) It does actually change something - it affects Occator Prime. Destroying the transports means you get to keep the credits you earned early on, but it also means that several habitats in Occator Prime (where the supplies were going) will be dead.
